Big industrial lamp Edison lamp steampunk light real vintage parts
This industrial lamp is made out of old parts that have been modified to create a true statement and conversation piece. It stands 19.5 inches tall and is 7 at its widest part. In total it weighs almost 10.5 good old American pounds. When parts were built in the US they were strong and heavy.
Starting from the bottom we have a very old gear or industrial cog that measures 7 inches.
In the center there is an old cast iron candle holder that was modified to work with this piece.
The piping is vintage but unsure of it’s actual age. Although some of the couplings are new.
The ¼ turn switch is an expensive piece made with new parts excluding the old faucet handle. Very high end switch from a specialty company always works will not break. Not a handmade potentially faulty nightmare.
The blue top part is some form of old industrial turn knob an measures 4.5 inches.
The bulb cage is vintage and cut to help provide aesthetic looks.
All wiring is new and done with a roped vintage looking cord. The accent copper you see around the creation is new along with the bolts holding the bulb cage. The brass fitter to hold the cage is new but hammered to have a vintage look.
Thick foam has been placed on the bottom to keep your furniture safe. Uses a standard e26 Edison bulb. You can use anyone you like as long as the width is less than 4 inches.
Please note that the aging and chips have been left on the lamp for a true vintage look.
